Once you log in, you can: receive your railroad safety and security awareness training, take the required safety and security awareness tests, and confirm your personal information.
LOGGING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Confirm that your employer has submitted your information to the eRailSafe site. Employers must enter applicant information into the system before site access is permitted.
You should have received, read, and signed a consent form from your employer, agreeing to this background check investigation.
If you were enrolled on or after September 26, 2015: Your username is your full last name + two-digit birth month (MM) + two-digit birth date (DD). Your password is the first initial of your first name (lower case) + full birth year.
Example username: Smith0723 Example password: a1975
If you were enrolled before September 26, 2015: Your username is the last four digits of your social security number, followed by a dash, then your full birth year. Your password is the last four digits of your social security number.
Example username: 5263-1975 Example password: 5263
Once you are logged into eRailSafe, you will be prompted to set your security questions and reset your password. The password criteria is listed below:
- 8 character minimum
- Must have at least one (1) capital letter
- Must have at least one (1) lower case letter
- Must have at least one (1) symbol (preferably one of the following: @, #, $, %)
